Playing In Their Old Theatre

Special Air Mail Service

Loudon, Nov. 1. Nearly & quarter of a century ago two actresses made their Brat sp- pearance together at the Criterion Theatre, London.

Then for very many years each went her own way, and each made a success of her life alone.

Now a famous young playwright has written a play that brought them to gether again at the same theatre-after being parted for more than 20 years.

The heroine of this true life story Are Miss Ellis Jeffries and Miss Lilian Braithwaite and the dramatist who has brought them together again is Mr. Ivor Novello. The play is "Fresh Fields."

I asked them what they thought of the modern "stars" many of whoth were still in their cradles whom they were already famous (writes a Sunday Chronicle representative).
