Sir David Murry

London, Nov; 13. The death occurred yesterday of Sir David Murray, aged 84, the Royal Academician and well- known landscape painter.-En- ishi Wireless Service.

The late Sir Davið Murray was born and educated in Glasogw, only becoming a painter after 11 years of commercial lite. He was elected President of the Royal In- stitute of Painters in Water Col- ours in 1917, holding this position up to the time of his death. He was knighted in 1918.
