I always liked these Navy-Army games, so making the excuse to the Editor that I was not feeling. quite up to scratch, I spent prac- tically the whole of the" afternoon there, and saw some very good batting too, although I cannot say exactly the same thing about most of the bowling.

It was a happy little party, and an improvement on the usual all- day games we have here, for the. ladies who were present lent some colour to the proceedings.
