The exhibition tennis match be- tween Mr. Hui Sua Kei, who lately beat Khoo Hye Hooi in the Nan- king championships, and Tsui Wai Pui, our leading Chinese player, which was to have taken place on the C.R.C. courts yesterday was postponed.

No notice of their postponement was given and a large crowd of people had gathered at the C.R.C. In anticipation of some fine tennis, The visitor did not arrive and half an hour after the advertised time a mild curiosity was aroused.

Some while later an envoy wad sent to look for the honoured guest. | After another wait he returned...... without Mr. Hui

It appeared that the Nanking champion was not feeling well after his sea-trip and could not turn out. "There is some possibility that the exhibition may be held to-day.

Before the final whistle sounded, Marshfield scored for the Borderers.

South China showed surprisingly poor form, in their match with St. Joseph's yesterday at Cargline Hill, although they emerged victors by the only two goals scored.

The Saints had little difficulty in holding the China attack during the first half and it was only after the interval that South China showed anything like their usual form.
