Feeding is one of the most important things in' a dog's life, for an correctness of feeding depend the dog's healt and charm as a companion. A badly fed dog cannot be a heathy dog, and therefore is not pleasant to haye about. Many people have the haziest ideas on how a dog should be fed, and if you ask then. they will hazard an opinion that ""scraps" and perhaps a little milk 19an all sufficient dlet. Nothing Never could be more erroneous give a dog milk or sloppy food. The dog's stomach is relatively small and Its gastric juices are very powerful; it can therefore deal with hard food with great ease. It is absolutely necessary for the dog's health that it should be given food of this description.

Dry food is also good for the teeth..and without it the teeth will soon become decayed and the gums tender. A dog should never be fed at table, or between times, but

Strictly speaking the dog should have nothing more kill the evening meal and it is best to resist those pleading eyes at tea time when the greedy humans are gobbling cake and bread and but- ter. It is recommended that the last meal of the day be given in the evening and be fed dry. It should consist of Spiller's Shapes or Spillers Dog or Puppy Biscuits. Whatever the breed the biscuits should be fed dry for one meal of the day, for the tearing and crunching of the hard dry" biscult is most essential to the teeth and gums for general health.
