HONGKONG AND ILL OMENED 13: OMAR'S BRILLIANT DISPLAY
(By "Toucher")
The final match of the interport series, between Hongkong and Shanghai which was played in the Police Green proved a most exciting struggle, as first one team. and then the other took the lead and the result, was uncertain until the very last head.
Hongkong drew first blood, but Shanghai was soon leading at 54 Hongkong "drew ahead again and reach- ed 13-8 when the local side stuck, and Shanghai went. un to pile up 8 points before Hongkong could get away from the unlucky number. His Excellency the Governor, Sir William Peel, and H.E. Major General "0.C. Borrett were amongst the large gathering of spectators-who-witnessed the match.

Hall's two woods in the second head were well placed and Hog kong lay the shot at the end of four woods. "Sandy" Malcolm with his first wood rested on the shot and Shanghai lay 1. Brown's Arst wood.. a draw on the jack, proved erratic and Shanghai's third man,
