Aden, Sept. 19. Bir Graeme Thomson, G.C.M.G. Governor of Ceylon, who disem- barked here, owing to illness, on the P. and O. s.s. Carthage, died of cerebral embolism. He was burled with full military honours.

Sir Graeme was created a knight in 1919 and was made G.C.M.G., In 1928.

He was born on August 9, 1875, and was educated at Winchester and New College, Oxford. Sir Oraeme was a very active man and some of his more recent work is given below.
