A great step toward the ad- vancement and increased member- ship was taken by members of the Australian and New Zealand As sociation of Hong Kong and Bouth Chang when they made several important changes to the Associa- tion's rules at a meeting held yes terday afternoon at Gloucester Building.

As a result of these alterations, full membership status is now open to those who are of Austra- Han and or New Zealand parent- age, but not necessarily born in those places. Further, the Ar sociation "now also cater for ladies, who may be admitted as full or associate members.

In introducing the changes, Dr. | H. D. Matthews, who presided, said that he looked forward to' an even more prosperous future for the Ar [:sociation, "which at the moment
