A very attractive programme in the Home football league has been arranged for Saturday and the form shown by the different teams since last Saturday makes it impossible to back any team with any degree of cer tainly.

I am giving a short review of the teams below, to- gether with my selections which are based on the latest news received from home, but form is such a fickle thing that upsets are not unlikely,

Bolton has improved lately and Have a well-combined team. They bught to win at home against Brentford.

Fulham will have an easy day against Lincoln and should get both points to their credit.

Bradford C. played Notts C...in 1930 and won by 2-0 but lost by 0-2 last year but it is doubtful if they win this year.

Grimsby ought to make up for the points lost last week to Brad- ford, and against Port Vale this week although the latter have a very well balance defence, should win.

Hull ought to account for Bury. Manchester U. played Burnley, in 1930 and 1931 and won by "1-0 and 5-1 respectively and ought to do the same this year...

Nott F. won: in 1930 against Bradford by 1-0 and 1931 by 6-1 but this year they have not struck form yet: They are not expected to win.

Plymouth drew with Oldham in 1920 and won, in 1930 and 1931 by 3-1. They should win this year.

Southampton ought to have an easy day against Millwall and take full points.

West Ham have to go all out if they want to share the points. Preston will be, too good for them.
