Asia Landa Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. The top of the Trading range established during the past two weeks was near the year's high for indus- trials. The market appears to be in position whereby it could again push through on the up-side on any stimulating news. It would not be surprising if an upward movements got under way next week.

Wheat: Trading has been narrow. September liquidation caused easier markets.

Cotton: Hedge operations were more noticeable but offerings were well absorbed by the Trade. Speculation was light. Shower conditions prevail over the major part of the belt.

Silver: Very quiet There have been continued investulent straddles There is a holiday in all markets on Saturday and Monday, September 2nd and 4th.
