Rex Ingram, whose Moroccan film. Barmul” showing to-day at the King's Theatre, has been the ercipient of a very startling offer. Clarence Brodu, the ace director of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, who recent- ly returned to California after hove months European vacation, was apparently vastly impressed, not only by Barond" as a produc sion, but by Ingram's appeal on the serren as an actor. So much so, that he offered to place, the here of 'Baroud" under personal contract to return to Hollywood, ns a ̈lend- ing man.
