Bridgeport, July 24.
The Mollisons crashed within sixty miles of New York, within the sight of New York lights. Unfortunately Bridgeport is not equipped for night landings. The Sea. ** farer landing at a high speed over-ran the boundary into marshland encompassing the aerodrome,
In another half-hour, if the petrol had held out, they would have been acclaimed by 25,000 New Yorkers, in- cluding General Balbo and Wiley Post.

The Mollison's machine ie ap-1 parently damaged beyond repair. The Mollisons were rushed to hospital on stretchers improvised from one of the Seafarer's wings Mollison is suffering from multiple lacerations to his face and bruised legs, while Amy, his wife, has a fractured left fore. finger and a lacerated rigtit hand.
