The story is of the mysterious murder of a stellar halfback as he dashed for a touchdown. A packed stadium suddenly sees him stagger, stumble and collapse, dead. How And why his death was caused is the problem worked out by a élever de- tective.

Miss Jordan is the latter's sweetheart, and Ruggles, his usual wise-cracking self, is a reporter covering the game.via ra- dio. CELEBRATES 31ST BIRTHDAY
