THREE-YEAR PROGRAMME COSTING $230,000,000

Washington, June 3. Naval building is again on the' beom Within 60 days after the passage of the industrial public works bill the Navy will be ready to start work on 30 new ships as a part of the three-year 8230,000,000 construction programme.

Word was passed to-day to Re- presentative Carl Vinson; chair

man of the House naval committee that 818,000,000 would be made available for the first years work. 9,170 The remainder, it is stated here, will be allocated later by Presi dent Roosevelt to ship construction under the blanket autority which the President will be given in the industrial bill.

Mr. Vinson stated that the ships for which the contracts can be let within 90 days are as follows:
