An actress from England has looked upon Hollywood and found it fair. In fact, more than_fair, Sho is Diana Wynyard, who shares honours with Lewis Stone, Phillips Holmes and Ruth Selwyn in "Man Must Fight," a Metro-Goldwyn- Mayor production, which comes on Sunday to the Queen's Theatre.

"Hollywood has been more than fair to me, } saya Miss Wynyard. "In three months since my arrival I have plaved in three different pictures. And never was I made to feel that I was a stranger in a strange place." This statement was by way of confession, for the tall, blue-eyed actrees who was one of London's most popular stage artists, admits that her coming to Hollywood was not without appre hension.

"Hollywood is the Mecca of all the world's actors and actresses," she explained during a moment's leisure while Director Edgar Selwyn was lining up his cameras for the 1940 sequences of "Men Must Fight."

"Where there is so much com- petition, a newcomer naturally ex. pects to encounter difficulties to start with. But so far everything has been smooth sailing.. Film people seem to have no and of patience, and their courtesy, and friendliness have been very help- ful. I thought I should need time to fit into the scheme of things, but before I was oven settled down, I found myself playing with the Barrymores in Rasputin and the You Empress and in 'Cavalcade.' don't have time to feel doubtful of whether or not you belong when you are picked up and carried along at such a pace."

But I hope in my next picture I can play an Ameri- can role, for I believe that with my short experience on the New York stage, and my experience in Hollywood, I understand the tem-- perament and character of your people to portray them.
