WİLL ROGERS AND BLUE BOY--THE PRIZE PIG
There is one thing impossible, even to the modern miracle work- ers of the picture studios who re- create lost worlds, part seas, raze mountains and destroy cities. It is impossible to remain solemn on a film that has Will Rogers in the Cast. He is just that kind of a fellow.
Far from being a wise-cracker, Rogers keeps everyone laughing because he instincively gets a hu morous stant on everything from the news of the day to the hum- drum routine of work. It isn't so much what he says, although that is plenty, but the way he says it, Paper and print can't reproduce the Rogers draw or the sly sub- the humour of the Rogers' grin.

FILM JOTTINGS
BRITISH FLYING EPIC PLANNED
Plans to put British aviation on the cinematic map are being de veloped at the Warner Bros. First National studios at Teddington, where Irving Asher, executive in charge of production intends to commence on a big flying picture in the near future. No casting details are yet available, but the names of several celebrities are being consi- dered for leading roles. The pic ture will have an elaborate produc tion and will be notable, for specta- oular air thrills done on an unpre- cedented scale. An Italian version of the film has already been made, with the full support and co-opera- tion of the Italian government, and one sequence shows no fewer than fifteen hundred seroplanes taking off simultaneously.
