It might be of interest here to give some particulars of the machine used in yesterday's demonstration. The plane used has a top speed of 20 miles hour and can elimb up to 23,000 feet, at a rate of 2,000 feet The exhibition was per minute. really for the purpose of showing what the latest single-senter pursuit plane can do.

Kowloon Bus Driver Fined

For driving at an excessive speed between Un Long and Pingshan on April 23, a driver employed by the Kowloon Motor Bus Company was summoned before Mr. Grantham at Kowloon Magistracy yesterday.

It was alleged by Inspector Nicolls that whilst he was on patrol in Castle Peak Road at about 12.10

p.m. on April 23 he saw Kowloon Motor Bus No. 8 leaving the atand at Up Long and driving towards Castle Peak Ho followed it to Wards Pingshan. He estimated that! the bus was travelling at about 40 miles an hour.

According to a police report, two young Chinese wearing Western clothes, who were staying at the Hotel Nathan, Kowloon are alleged B woman whom to have robbed they lured to their room shortly after 6 o'clock on Thursday even ing

It was stated that the victim who lived in Woosung street was called to the hotel by a chit.

In the Hotel she met two men with whom she stayed for half an hour and as they did not utter a single syllable, she rose to leave. Then the men seized ber and gagged her with a towel, using a tie to bind her wrists and ankles.

This Section of the Fair will be closed as from 6 P.M. on Saturday, 27-5-33. All stands and material must be left in situ until 7 A.M. on Sunday, 28th, and then completely removed before 7 P.M. on that day.
