By beating St. Joseph's on the Club ground yesterday by dve goals to two, South China have practically assured themselves of winning the First Division Championship. Both teams were with- out several leading players, and consequently the standard was not high, but the Chinese were definitely superior throughout.

SATURDAY'S MATCHES

Heavy scoring featured the matches played on Saturday, the Club losing to the Chiness Athletics by one goal to seven, while. the Navy junior eleven beat the Kowloon by nine goals to one.

The Kowloon first cleven also suffered defeat at the hands of the Royal Artillery, while the Navy. were rather unlucky to share the points with the Lincolns; the Borderers inflicted a rather, heary defeat on the Police by four goals to one.

In the Third Division; the R.A.S.C. lost to the R.A.F. by a penalty, while the Lincolns enjoyed a comfortable win at the ex- pense of the Royal Engineers.
