END OF CHATER BUNGALOW CASE

It was announced yesterday that settlement has been reached in the Chater, Bungalow Site case which was commenced at the Su- preina Court last week, before Mr. Justice Wood, acting Chief Justice: The Wo Lee Land Investment Company, of 6, Queen's Road Cen- tral, defendants in the action, have agreed to pay Messrs. Riven and Basto, the plaintiffs, the sum of 87,000, each side to pay ita own

costs.

The dispute was concerned, with a number of plans prepared for the site and the claim made by the plaintiffs was for $80,850. Appear. ing for the plaintiffs were Mr. Eldon Potter, K.C., and Mr. H. G. Sheldon, while the defendants were represented by Mr. F. C. Jenkin, K.O., and Mr. H. C. Macnamara.

The sum agreed upon is in ad- dition to the $12,000 previously paid into Court by the defendants,
