TWO WELCOME VISITORS FROM GENEVA

The annual general meeting of the Chinese Y.W.C.A, was held yesterday at the headquarters, 880, Bonham Road.

The business of the meeting was conducted both in English and Chinese, and the two addresses delivered by distinguished members of the organisation from Geneva were translated by Miss Shin, "the general secretary of the organisation in Hong Kong. **

After an opening hymn sung in English the Bishop of Victoria offered a prayer and was followed by Mrs. Wong Kwok Shuen who prayed in Chinese,

Miss F. C. Woo then introduced in Chinese cach of the visitors, Mrs. Sonthorn, Mrs. Borrett, The Bishop, Miss van Asche van. Wijck and Miss Charlotte Nevin.

The report of the Nominating Committee was then read by Mise Wong Kwok Shuen, and the following new members were elected to serve on the Board:-Mrs. Tso Shi Fong, Mrs. Ma Wong Chan, and Mrs. Woo Yeo Kal. Miss Kwok Sheung Man and Mrs. Lum Tsan Wai were re-elected.
