At their first meeting early in the season, the St. Andrew's ladies went down to the Hong Kong team by one to nil.

The game opened with some very fast play, the Hong Kong ladies launching & spirited attack. The St. Androw's defence, however, was sound and continually broko in the combination of the forwards, Misses Bryson, White and Wooley at back for the Saints being responsible. Miss Harrop missed a good chance for the Hong Kong ladies when she failed to convert a neat pass from

The Saints forwards showed getter combination than in any other previous game, and the good work by the Misses Gitting, Churn M. Wooley soon had its reward, when Miss Churn scored from a free hit outside the Hong Kong defence line, The Saints maintained their attack and Miss Gittins lost a chance to put her side in the lead, when she failed to put the finishing touches to a fine sola effort.

The bride who looked very charming in her white satin dress was accom panied by her three Bridesmaids, the Misses Aida Noronha, Julia Barreto and Eleoner Xavier, and was given away by her brother, Mr: Antonio Marin Xavier.

A Fine Sportsman.

Mr. Carlino Roza-Pereira ja and a prominent member of the a very popular Kowloon sportsman Club de Recreio and Victoria Re- creation Club. He is the brother of Lional Roza-Pereira, the Colony's swimming champion, and himself is

very good swimmer and the Colony's best water polo player. He is also proficient in other sports and plays cricket, baseball, and tennis with equal ability.
