SOME FORECASTS

A glance at the draw excites in- terest. In the first quarter are grouped three members of last year's Interport team, viz., Tsui Wai Pui, S. A. Runijahn and H. D. Rumjahn, of whoin the two first. mentioned took part in Bingles. The two cousins, who should ex perience little difficulty in surviving the initial round, meet in the second round, when a fine match should reault, and although prob ably 8.4. will be successful, I feel. confident H.D. will extend the holder to the third set! Y. Hachiu- ma, the only Japanese entered, bids fair to enter the third round to meet B.A. for the right to qualify for a place among the last eight. Tsui Wai Pui appears safe enough to join the last eight, his only serious obetachta on his way there apparently being WC. Hung.

U. Fincher, user-up for the last 3 years is comfortably placed) for a position in the quarter-finals in the second quarter, but some opposition will, in all probability, be offered by Owen Hughes and I MA. Bazack and Ng Kam Chuen. In the same quarter also are Ho Ka Lau, J. W. Leonard, and Denis H♫ Hazel, one of whom is expected Ho Ka La to meet Fincher. Of these I fancy
