BURGLAR ESCAPES SUPRISED MAN WRENCHES HIMSELF FREE.

Our outdoor activities have been confined mainly to hockey. Last season our ladies team in the Caer Clarke, Cup Competition were run ner-up for the second year in succession, and was awarded the Southern trophy. Our team in the Mamak Tournament finished a good third, after un indifferent start. The members of both teams are to be congratulated on the support given to their captains, and I trust that me spirit will be forthcoming in the present sonson. It is inter- eating to note that six members (four ladies and two men) were chosen to play in the teams against the winners of the rospective com- petitions. We have again entered teams in the Caer Clarke Cup Com- petition and Mamak tournament, and no doubt, the progress of both teams will be followed by all men bees with interest. Our grateful thanks are due to the officers of the Royal Corps of Signals, and parti cularly Capt.
