Giving evidence, the woman stat ed that the firm was indebted to her to the sum of 88,000 and interest under two promissory notes. On December 7, she received a notice from the firm. «

Tow Assets.

Mr. Steger then gave evidence, He said he was a partner in the firm and said that the liabilities. wore about 8950,000 to $300,000, This was only a rough estimate, There were very few assets. There were the furniture and effects of his office which amounted to 81,000 and his own furniture which had been attached, This amounted to nhout 8800 odd. An offer of $15,000 had been received in respect of the goodwill of the firm. The assets in Canton consisted of an offer of $5,000 from a former compradore who had absconded.

Hia Lordship said: The plaintiffs in this case sue th• defendants for an injunction to restrain them and their aganta from using the name or style of the plaintiff, namely, the Advertising.

The defendants have for some time carried on a similar business in Java under the style N.V Lit- jans Reclame Bureau, and in the earlier part of this year opened a branch of the same business in Singapore under different styles. Outside their promises in Rohinson Road they call themselves · Litjons Advertising and Publicity Bureau, the first word being in large letters and the rest below in small capi tals. In the Singapore telephone book the two firms appear as fol- lows:
