That the Government in fully alive to the need of a “Poor Law" Infirmary for the treatment of Tubercular cases was om- phasised by Mir, G. R. Bayer, President, at the fortnightly* meeting · of the Banitary Board held yesterday, when questions relative to the measures adopted by those responsible for the prevention of Tuberculosis and Malaria in the Colony during the past year waIG asked by Mr. Lo.
Mr. Bayer, in his replies, slated that satisfactory progress ħad been made in the fight againat Molaris, and that the most danger- ous carrier in the Colony was 4 Anopheles Miniqua."
