New Health and Vitality

That's what you do when you take Sanatogen. A famous physician, writing about the influence of Sanatogen on the health of body and nerves, said: "I am prepared to guarantee from my own personal experience, that by taking Sanatogen for a short period you will be able to tone up your cells in a way that nothing can surpass.” "What Sanatogen does is to go straight to the cOTA of well-being, the cells, and to build these up into a permanent and solid fabric of Health." Now apply this statement to yourself! Whatever your condition, Sanatogen will do you good. In no case will it interfere with medical treatment. Ask your doctor! If you are nervous or convalescent after illness. Sanatogen will restore your nervous system and build up your bodily strength, safely and permanently. In a very short time you will feel stronger, healthier, and -consequently happier.

THE BUDDHIST SCRIPTURES

A DISCOVERY IN CHINA

The translation and publication of Buddhist books in China at the time of the Sul Dynasty (A.D, 569. 818) and the Tang Dynasty (A.D. 818-007) was confined almost entire ly to manuscripts and stone cary- ings, and these were held in high esteem. There were no metal types in use, but printing from wooden blocks had been introduced. It was not until the Sung Dynasty (A.D. nee) that printing from wooden blocks began to be widely practis boubed, and during this dynasty, six

Discovered in Shenši, Last year General C. L. Chu, who was sent as Flood Relief Commis- sioner to Sian, Shensi, unexpect edly discovered there a complete. collection of this Tripitaka in two of the temples, the Kai Yuan and Woh Lung Temples. The complete work consisted of 5,600 fasciculi, each containing five pages, each page having six columns, and each | columy 17 characters. The year of printing was given at the end of each book, most of them bearing the years Chia Si (1273), Shun Yew (1241), and Chi Yuan (1279).

On investigation it was found that very few volumes of this col- lection exist im China, and those catalogued in Japan are reprint. and not original copics: A com- mittee was, therefore, formed for the purpose of organizing the pho- tographic reproduction of this uni- que work, and photographic ex perta are already at work.

Arrangements have been made to print 500 copies of the whole col- lection. The work will take three years to complete. The subscrip- tion price for each complete set will be about Mex. $500.-The Times,

POLICE FEAR THAT CORONA-. TION GOLD CUP MAY BE MELTED

The Coronation Gold Cup won by the famous racehore Solario, and bequeathed by Sir John Ruther- ford in his will to Blackburn, has been stolen from the Blackburn Art Gallery and Museum,

The theft is apparently the work of an expert who know the building perfectly and it won obvious that his only plan was the theft of the cup, which is valued at £200.

Other valuable were left untou- | ched, and, strangely enough, only twopence was missing from a draw- er in the library.

It was discovered that the intru- dor had opt through the doors lead- ing into, the museum, and cut out the glass from the case in which the cup was located,..

Detectivos were examining blood fingerprints on hundreds of plecar of glass which were found, and also -on"the walls of-the-museum-

The police fear that the cup may havo“ been-rhelted down, as it de unlikely that any fences would care to keep a trophy so well known

As a matter of fact, a description of the cup has been flashed by the police to all parts of the country.
