The contract for the construction of a £2,000,000 bridge linking the islands of Zealand and Falster it is anticipated will be definitely placed with Dorman, Long & Co., Middlesbro', by the Danish Govern
ment within the next few days.
The projected bridge, which is designed to accelerate the journey from Copenhagen to Berlin, will be over two miles long, will take two years to build, and will cost about £2,000,000. It will be 26 metres wide, with the central spans over 180ft. above, sea-level..
