The titbit of the prograsame is the 290 yards championship, and although Campbell is favours in: some quarters, there is a feeling that Lange, A newcomer Fram Tientsin, will extend him, if not actually beat him. A good race is expected. Don and Rasmussen are entering for this event too and the latter is surely as good as anme over the 100 and may pop a sur- prise in the 220.
For those who like something amusing, the Tug of War should appeal as will the novelty TREE. The mixed team race also will pro- vide a relief from the more serious competitions that forms the earlier part of the programme,
The water polo game is scheduled to bring the programme to a close and all the best talent of the "Y" will be engaged and a few of the best swimmers from Canton--in-i cluding Rasmussen-will also take part. A very good evening's aport is foreshadowed..
