CONTRACT

IMPORTANT RESOLUTION PASSED BY CHAMBER

-OF COMMERCE

PRINCIPAL IMPORTERS TO MAKE

FIRM STAND

A largely attended meeting of textiles importers of the Colony was held in the offices of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Cominerco Inst night to consider a revised contract between im porters and Chinese dealers following representations by the Chi- hese Pires (loads Guild that the contract in force since 1923 required amendment.
