THE HON. MR. W. E. L. SHENTON OPENS NEW HOSPITAL AT KAM TIN,
MAKES PLEA FOR CO-OPERATION IN ASSISTING WORK OF THE BRIGADE.
A lasting monument to the work of the H. K. Division of the St. John's Ambulmes Brigade in the Now Torritories, the Kam Tin- Hospital was opened yesterday by the Hon. Mr. W. E. L. Shenton. Comprising a number of houses loaned by the Government, the hos pital makes provision for a large, wamber of maternity cases, for a limited number of serious bed"enses and for the treatment of out patients. There will be a Chinese doctor and "nurses in residence at the hospital while it is hoped that" in a short time an ambulance. will be stationed at Kam Tin.
