SOLICITORS SUBPOENAED TO GIVE EVIDENCE IN VILLAGE ROAD
MURDER CASE.
During yesterday's proceedings in the ense' in which Chong Kwok You is charged with procuring the murder of George Fung. three solicitors were subponted by the Crown' to give evidence as to what happened in their offres when they were interviewed by Zimmern and Christie, and in the ense of Mr. M. W. Lo, by Zimmern and Chinese who ultimately gave his surname as Chong.
Christid was also called into the witness-box, where his cross examination by Mr. Brutton was completed. In the course of his answers to Mr. Brutton, witness said that Mr. Davidson did not "give him a receipt for the interview, but said Pay your fees and
