HEAVY DEATH ROLL DUE TO PULMONARY TUBERCOLOSIS.

The Hon. Dr. S. W. To pccupied the chair at the aamual general meeting of, iho Alice Memorial and Aliated Hospitals which was held in the Board Room of the Hong Kong General Ghamber of Commerce yesterday, and during the course of his speech, the chairman remarked that there was debit balance on the year's working. Fortunately, this was not very largo und he added that it was not without reluctance that the Extentive Committee decided to increase the hospital charges slightly.
