The Rose Room of the Peninsula Hotel was the scene of a very happy gathering last evening when the newly formed units of the Volunteer Defenes Corpe-the A.8.C. Cadre, Anti-Aircraft Light Automatic Company and Anzie Company-held their inaugural dinner.
