HON. MR. SHENTON ON HONG KONG AND ITS UNIVERSITY.
The members of the Hong Kong University Law and Commaros Society were hosts to a large number of guests on Saturday even. ing on the occasion of the Society's annual dinner.
The Hon. Mr. W. E. L. Shenton, introduced into his speech a possible problem for solution by the Chief Justice His, Honour Sir, Joseph Kemp, who was also present, while His Honour took the opportunity to launch one or two playful digs at his legal friend. Professor Robertson briefly reviewed the present economic situation, and propounded general rules for overcoming it.

The Loyal Toast and The Republic of China" wore proposed by Professor Robertson and duly honoured, after which the Chair man, Mr. Sam Swee Chum proposed the toast of "Our Guests."
