HOME FOOTBALL RESULTS.

INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS FOR ENGLAND THREE

GOALS SCORED AGAINST SCOTLAND.

ARSENAL AGAIN DEFEATED LEADERS ADVANCE.

The principal event in Home football during the week-end was the mooting of England and Scotland to decide the international: championship. England won by three goals and pleased the many thousands of spectators gathered at Wembley.

English League teams were engaged in their regular fixtures.. Everton, taking the points at Leicester by the quty goal scored, strengthened their position for the championship, profiting als by the fact that the Arsenal suffered another reverse. The Wolves, in the Second Division, enhanced their promotion prospects by a splendid victory.
