NANKING, April t. The Government has issued n stern order prohibiting the organ isation of Volunteer Corps and Militia.

The order stairs, that the Govern ment has received many requests from various parts of the country to organise auch forces, in view of Japanese aggression in China, but permission fans been refused as otherwise the people would be free to organise military units, which would enable them to ignore the ardors of the Government.
