CHAMPIONS TO RETAIN THE SHIELD?
INDIANS SCORE EASY WIN OVER ARTILLERY IN SENIOR CRICKET LEAGUE..
POLICE FORCE. KOWLOON "JUNIORS TO A DRAW:
BRYANT'S EFFORT FOR THE GUNNERS.

By reason of their win overthe Royal Artillery on Saturday, the Indian Recreation Club have strengthened their chances of re- taining the senior shield. in the Cricket League. They are three points ahead of their nearest rivals, Craigongower Cricket Club, with the pane number of games played and it is considered in many quarters that the Sookunpeo tam will have no difficulty in winning the shield again although they havo still to play against the formidabio Kowloon Cricket Club team.
Although they were not engaged over the week-end, the I.R.C. juniors have also consolidated their, chances of being champions again for the current season. This is owing to the fact that Kuw loon Crisket Club, who are ruzning neck-to-neck with them for the top position dropped two valuable points when they could only manage a draw against the Polios at King's Park, The I.R.C. are two points behind their rivals but have a match in hand and the meeting of these two teams, later in the season, will be looked for ward to wish much interest by all followers of the gains.
