Dunstable. January 18-Bostick's Menagerie, the Wandering Tea- cher of Natural History" is no more, writes a correspondent. To- day, it made its final dramatic wander down Bedfordshire Innes, To-morrow, and for many toner- rows, it becomes part of Whip- anade Zoo.

Before it was light this morning Dunstable turned out to give Bostock's its last public welcome.. By half-past nine, when the long and cumbersome circus train even- bually arrived in the station. the local constabulary had to call out reinforcements to deal with the. situation.

Dunstable rose to the occasion, gave the elephants plenty of room, and forbore to stand within scratahing range of the lions. They also cheered every new arrival, and provided one of the most interested audiences that Bostock's has enter-

tained in all its long century of wandering.
