FR. JACQUINOT ARRANGES A TRUCE

Col, Hayley Bell and Fr.. Jacquinot, with two or three lorry leads of the Volunteer Corps and Chinese nurses will go to Chapel during the truce and escort the women and children wishing to leave Chapel to within the Anglo-American: sector of the Settle- ment. The Chinese nurses will attend to the removal of the wounded.

The German Consul-General, Baron Von Collenberg, has ar ranged a similar truce with both parties for the same period to- morrow morning on the Woosung battle front to enable the evacua- tion of German professors and the teaching staff from the German owded college at Woosung.
