Lane, Crawford's. The use of, dull stockings for more formal cecations has gained in popularity, and will continue to be popular this year. Dull colours are particularly attractive because of the flattering effects they give in the darker colours The other day i saw a wonderful display of "Luxite !! silk and lisle thread stockings in the new and distinctly Battering colours at the Ladies' Salon of Lane Crawford's. Among the new shades are mellow" and Malny, s darker baige than we have been woaring lately; shadow, a light
