I think I may say that at last we seem to be approuchina the time wheis we shall be able, in commence the payment of dividends You will note from the balanc sheet that our investments, includ- ing investments on Recount of Sinking Fund to replace the value of the concession, stood on June 30 last at 8149,572.46. We are con tinuing our policy of investing, in sound local stocks. spare funds that become available from time to time.

Further alterations to our over head high tension mains are being carried out, and by this means we shall increase the security of a con- tinuity of supply, in addition t being able to do work on certam sections without the necessity of in forrupting the supply to the whole area or district.

Building Extensions.

The generating plant, sub-st tions, etc, have been kept in griud working condition. The old stol chimney, which had.corroded badly. has been completely renewed, and now that we have, an additional chimney, which was installed last year, we shall be better able to do the necessary painting, etc, and thereby considerably prolong the lives of both chimneys. The spray pond which we use for cooling our condenser circulating water has been doubled in capacity. The ex tensics to our power house build- ing, consisting of a new office for our manager, meter department, and stores, ware completed during the financial year.

The chairman then poped the Adoption of the report and acequnts.. This was seconded by Mr. 8. M.. Churn and was carried unanimous ly.
