The Hong Kong Club did manage to raise a sido for the match with the Navy, but they only had five of their first team playing, if one does not count Divatt. LOCAL BOXING.

MORRIS AND WARNES TO MEET AGAIN.

Signalman Morris, H.M.S. Suffolk, and A.B. Warnes, H.M.S. Hermes, have signed articles for a return con teat for the welterweight champion- ship of the Colony at the Theatre Royal on December 23, when the Hong Kong Boxing Association are holding their second tournament of the season.

The most interesting game, to morrow, if the Club can get out their full side, is between them and K.C.C. who will be playing away from home. There is a good deal of difference between the Kowloon eleven on its own ground and on the Club ground, an'ia but natural when ong considers the difference of light and wicket. Lyal, for instaner, never seems to bowl well this sidement, when Morris gained the ver

of the water, and is will be interest- ing to see what he does to-morrow, as recently he has been regaining his old form. In all probability the wicket will be on the soft side' and the probable result is a draw, though of the two I fancy K.0.0. if there is a definite result. The Navy are at home to the Indians and may make a draw of it if their bats come off. I doubt if their bowl- ing is strong enough to get out the well-balanced I.R.C. side, who have batting right down to number téh with thoir full side. The Civil Ser- vice trával to Pokfulam and relieved of the strein of three League matches may stags a coma-back. After all, their form so far has been too bad to be true. I rather fancy they may win. By the way all these three games are friendlies, and un- less the O.C. C. and Gunners have Axed a League match since their cards were printed, there is no

This is indeed a welcome bit of news and those who saw these two men in the ring at the last tourna

dict on points, will no doubt 'con-- gratulate the Boxing Association on being able to get these two men. together again.

It will be remembered that part. of the "house" did not" take the decision too well in the previous fight and while Morris will go all out this time to preserve his reputa

ion, Warnes will let himself go in The effort, to' regain lost, ground,
