After dealing with routine mac- ters, the Chairman referred to the letter drafted by the sub-commitude in reply to the recent commahien-¿ tion (already published in our columns) from the five Chinese clubs in regard to thoir Withr drawal. He said that the draft letter had been in the hands of Council members for two or three days and he invited the views of the members.

The meeting proceeded to discuss the draft letter and various amend- ments were made before it was) passed.
