The present trend of developments at Canton appears to show that all the Cantón leaders, who formerly acted as peace delegates to Shanghai, are seceding from the Cantos Opposition Govern. ment as a consequence of the resolution adopted by the Kuomin tang National Congress to repudiate the results and agreements reached at the Shanghai peaco discussions, which has placed them in an 'awkward position.
