After considerable struggles, he obtained a small time vaudeville booking. The money he received was scarcely adequate to feed him- self and his, horse, but he kept Í struggling,

Moscow, September 4.The Taan Agency supplies a full account of the trial and noquittal of the sentry .who shot Mr. William John Stephenson, chief engineer of the British steamer Kingswood, on August 18 outside a military depot in Leningrad.
