The story concerns a girl who had for some family obligations, promised to marry a city banker. Later this banker, stirred by righteous ardour organised a raid un a notorious roadhouse. Annie, The girl's maid, was arrested, and qubaoquently the girl learned that she (the maid was to become a mother. Her husband was the gitta younger brother, whom she married as a lark.

In an attempt to shield the maid, the girl herself got into a hilarious and onlewhat embarrassing sitte- tion when everyone suspected her to become a mother instead of the maid: This was Bnally straighten- ed out however, after six different men were involved.
