The resumption of Kollett island and the Naval Arsenal Yard at a cost of 82,000,000 was explained by the Colonial Secretary at yesterday's meeting of the Legislative Council. The money, it was explained, is required to build Naval magazines elsewhere in the Colony which will secure the removal of a serious danger from a thickly populated area, and will obtain a very valuable site which will be developed in accordance with the latest town planning scheme
