Fooshing to Enquire of Fishermen The Fooshing, which left Shang- hai ai 1 p.m. on Saturday last with stores for H.MS. Sepoy and the Hopsang, which are at Nam Kwan harbour standing by the stranded Waishing, received in structions to make enquiries of fishermen and others in the vicin- ity of Tai Chau Islands for news of the missing ship, sines it is be lieved that the Kwongsang might have boon somewhere in the region of Tai Chau which is some distance to the north of Nam Kwan, whon the typhoon struck her.
The captain of the Sunning r6 ported on his arrival in Hong Kong that he had left Shanghai after the Kwongsang, and that, encountering torrille weather on his voyage south, he took refuge in Tai Chau, remaining there for twenty-three hours, without how ever, soing any signs of the Kwongeang.
The Yuen Sang, which is on a rage from Japan to Amoy, has so received instructions tó kedp a good look out for possible nows of the Kwangsang.

An appeal by the Shanghai creditors of the Russo-Asiatic Bank for a preferential share in the Hong Kong liquidation was heard yes terday in the Full Court at which Sir Poter Grain presided with the Chief Justion (Sir Joseph Komp) and the Puisne Judge (Mr. Justice Lindaell).
The appeal is against a judgment delivered by the Chief Justice (Bir Joseph Komp) in Chambers on May 6, this year, the appellants boing the Bank of Chosen, Bank of Taiwan, Mercantile Bank of India, Australia and China, Mitsu Bishi Bank, Nederlandsche Indische Han dela Bank, Sumimoto Bank, Italian Bank for China, S. Matsumoto, Tac Fung Yung, Yue Fah, U. N. Kong and J. L. de Zutter; alf of Shanghai, They were represented by Mr H. G. Sheldon, instructed by Mesara. Deacons.
The respondent is the Official Receiver and Liquidator (Mr. E. L. Agassiz), for whom Mr. F. C. Jenkin appeared, instructed by Johnson, Stokes and

The Officers and Crew. The Kwongsang was under the command of Captain C. I. A. Houdry, the others officers being Mr. G. E. F. Beck (Chief Officer), Mr. J. Rees (Second Officer), Mr. S. E. McKinley (Chief Engineer); Mr. W. K. Cochrane (Second En gineer), and Mr. A. K. Ames (Third).
In addition, the vessel carried a Chinese crew of 56, and possibly a few Chinese deck passengers, though no details have yet been received from Shanghai.
