"Dakin Barrolles," England's most feared bank robber, he must subtle character nuances of the un- assume the facial disguisa and tho derworld.

Despite his reputation for por- traying the smoothest crooks diarac- terization in pictures, as well as being the screen's best-drezzed man, Edmund Lowe still maintains that a thrilling melodrama, filled with opportunities for strong characteri zation, is his favourite type of film story.

To such `n rúle, no matter what station in life the character might holong, Lowe maintains he can give his best. "What Price Glory" and The Cock Eyed World" establish- ed him as a Bard-boiled sergeant,' "Born Reckless" permitted him to portray a modern gangster, as did "Good Intentions. The Thing. Called Love," as well as many other Lowo vehicles, gave bim ame ple opportunity for the display of impeccable attire, including his famous silk bals and ovening clo- thes.

Jenn Bennett plays the landing feminine rôle opposite Löwe, in Scotland Yard" with charm and feeling, and she is ably supported in her far from light taak by Bar- bara Leonard, David Torrance, Donald Crisp, Georges Renvenent, Lumsden Haro and Halliwell Habbes,.

"Bostland Yard” will be showing at the King's Theatre from to-day, nad it should not be missed.
