A further chapter in the amazing story of the tracking of alleged Communists in Singapore by the Criminal Intelligence Department and the arrest of number of Chinese, an Indian and an Euro peau, some of whom are described as having been dangerous "Red" pro- pagandists in, Malaya, was unfold- ed last Friday afternoon when the trial of the sixteen accused was con- tinued.
The presence of Serge Lufrine alias Joseph Ducroux, a young Frenchman, who is the first Euro- pean to be arrested in Malaya, for. an alleged political offence has added extraordinary interest to the trial and thore was a crowded court yesterday.
